  6. Tasting notes

  7. Tasting notes

    Colour: Dark Baltic amber

Nose: Distinctly spicy with noticeable sweet cardamom taste mixed with a taste of sultanas. In the background, cigar humidor and a delicate taste of candied almonds.

Body: strong cognac. Although one can taste cask strength, which is unusual for cognacs, the alcohol remains covered with the herbal aroma of sage and fresh mint leaves. These then make room for a sweet and subtle taste, and smoothly change into a delicate aftertaste of marzipan and dried apricot. The finish is long and surprisingly reminiscent of a good, mature Speyside whisky. The aftertaste stays on the palate and encourages reflections.

Summary: Undoubtedly, we are tasting an extraordinary and unorthodox cognac, which is different to other products typical of the region. This beverage is a true beauty – sophisticated and complex!
