This rare expression of The GlenDronach was distilled over fifty years ago in 1971. It has matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, followed by a final maturation in a single Pedro Ximénez cask. Selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, this is the first fifty-year-old expression of The GlenDronach to be released. Each of 198 bottles has been individually numbered to reflect its rarity. Bottle number 1 was recently auctioned for GBP 40.000 at Sotheby’s.
