Diamonds

Diamonds are one of the few items that are highly valued, regardless of the place and situation. That is why they are a perfect capital investment and a collection of these gemstones can be a great way to secure one’s financial future.

  1. Why diamonds?

  2. Why diamonds?

    Diamonds are forever

They are considered global and universal carriers of value. They grow in importance especially in difficult periods of history. Diamonds are one of the few items that are considered valuable in any situation and at any place in the world.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend

They are the basis of the jewelry market, which is worth more than USD 150 billion, and its most prestigious resource. Jewelry sales increase by 5–6% a year and are expected to reach USD 250 billion by 2020.

    Untapped potential

Investment purchases amount to a mere 5% of the polished diamonds value. In comparison, investment purchases on the gold market amount to 20%. Investors entering the market will result in the increase in prices.

    Steady growth

Between 2009 and 2015, the price of diamonds increased by 5% a year, with its volatility approximately 1.6 and 3 times lower than the volatility of gold and silver prices, respectively. Between 2004 and 2014 the price of the high value 3-carat diamond increased by 123%.

    Relatively large

There are approximately 130 million carats (26 tonnes) of unpolished diamonds extracted every year. These provide for only 5 million carats (1 tonne) of polished (cut) diamonds weighing more than 1 carat (0.2g). We offer mostly diamonds weighing from 0.5 to 3 carats. These are perfect when it comes to the relations of uniqueness and liquidity. Upon clients’ requests, we can also provide diamonds with other parameters.

    Certified

Even the most experienced jewelers do not have access to the equipment of the biggest gemological laboratories. By buying certified diamonds we are sure they have been properly tested and described. In addition, certificate holders will find it is easier to resell the diamonds later. We recommend diamonds certified by the most renowned research institute – the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The USA provides for around 40% of the world jewelry market, with GIA’s certification serving as the most recognised mark of quality.

    High-quality

Jewelers and the most demanding buyers pay attention to the key features of diamonds. Diamonds with the highest grades (in terms of colour, clarity and cut) will always be sought after. For the purpose of investments, we recommend buying colourless diamonds (grades D, E, F) which are completely clear and internally flawless (grade FL, IF). Upon our clients’ requests, we can also acquire coloured diamonds.

    From reliable sources

Every years, frauds made attempts to trade false or synthetic diamonds, or even forge original packages of certifying authorities. On the diamond market, reputation is everything. Working with renowned supplies – who built their reputation over generations – guarantees security to the buyer. Our diamonds are bought directly from renowned and carefully selected cutters from Antwerp, which is the world capital for the diamonds trade.

    At reasonable prices

Diamonds are far from homogenic. There are approximately 20,000 varieties of diamonds (categorised according to colour, clarity, cut or carat weight). When buying investment diamonds, we must be certain the price is appropriate to the quality or weight of a diamond and to the repute of the certificate. For diamonds offered by Wealth Solutions, we use the globally-recognised Rapaport Diamond Report, which presents prices of diamonds with different features.
